Does the above
Hurricane Warning
look familiar?? If you live in Florida or any Atlantic or Gulf Coastal State, this
may be very common to you.
During the hurricane
season of 2005, Florida and the Gulf Coast was slammed by major
hurricanes. The Sunshine State and the Big Easy's weather misfortunes that
summer is a reality that happens all too often, and is a temporary luck of
the draw for the rest of the Atlantic coast. During these brutal and
dangerous hurricanes, once again there were partial and complete roof
failures on thousands of homes. We at Hurricane Defense Systems (HDS), have
recognized for some time that the roof has not been considered for
any new safety features in decades to reduce
hurricane force winds. Yes, there are other companies that manufacture
safety products to protect your home from a hurricane, but none of which can
guarantee an upward wind pressure reduction.
Our patented roof
vent system, when installed on the gable end or rake of the home, will
reduce wind reduction up to 58%, even during the most
powerful hurricanes.
Development of the Hurricane Defense
System (HDS) was inspired by Hurricane Andrew, which occurred in 1992. Our
product is engineer tested by Sigma Engineering and Design.
